The cloth-chamber will be sewn and cut. Everyone can take a part of it if they return. The woman is building a museum of her own, from the buttons, waterfalls, mountains and pearls important to her. I do not fully trust the sample-scraps over the road. What is the consequence of silence. I broke every swing that I used. Marion’s delayed mourning is in Dana’s decalage. I can’t work with the void, but only with the over-full, so I started braiding. In that moment I was in charge of scraps and thread-ends. I was listening without words or whispers. Sewing and unstitching, cutting and sharing: the sewing gesture unstably maps the territory. It populates it with signs and meanings in a rampant volumetric forest thickened by the thread behind the knitting needle. Lena in prison. What is the consequence of silence. Lena’s experience and my mom’s experience. Ada starts with the laces from the porch. Two women are singing. I whistle while moths are eating. Two other women walk past each other wearing the same dress. Effortlessly, one fixes the architectural frame with freshly washed bare hands. The material aquatic ceremony is amplified at a scale of 1:10000 under the glass. Situations are slowly being configured on cheeky screens. I started to write after we first talked. I’ve learned how to whistle when I was with the sheep. Sewing does not swallow territories but orientates towards possible directions for walking and action.

Skeptical of reflection, which only “dislocates the same entity elsewhere”, Haraway proposes diffraction as a method of recording the history of interactions, interferences, constituting a metaphor for a different kind of critical consciousness. This consciousness does not try to find an authentic representation of pre-existing entities, but engages in a continuous performative presence. Using diffractive strategies in which representationalism is replaced by performativity, the exhibition is the result of a collective research that intersects with the practices of artists Ada Piștiner, Marion Baruch, Lena Constante and the sociologist Dana Diminescu. The subject and object do not pre-exist but appear during the intra-actions (K. Barad). Artistic and curatorial methodologies aimed at symbiotically combining the collective actions and impulses with the personal ones, through the practice of dialogue and working in the proximity of the other; with the roles of curator -artist in a fluid, entangled dynamic.
